There are also good bus links into the town that stop on the opposite side of the road from Little Town.

Safety and cleanliness
How do you keep the centre clean?
Yes and we even have our White Sock Test to prove it! We employ cleaners who clean the centre every day, including a rigorous cleaning regime for the play structures. You will also see our general staff cleaning tables, sweeping and mopping in general areas. We have a large scrubber-dryer machine that cleans and disinfects the floors on a regular basis. We also use a process called fogging, which is used in a lot of hospitals to disinfect large open areas. The fogging equipment emits a fine mist of chemicals that disinfect every area they come into contact with, getting into every nook and cranny. The chemicals change structure when drying to become water and evaporating into oxygen so although they are very effective at disinfecting bugs, when dry they are completely harmless. This makes them 100% eco-friendly and child safe.
How do I know the centre is safe?
We have a child protection policy in place that ensures certain controls such as maglock-controlled or alarmed entry/exit points are in operation or that adults may not enter the premises without a child. Please do not be offended if you arrive on your own to meet family who are already in the centre and we ask you to get them to come out and meet you. Our structure design complies with the official standards and is regularly inspected to make sure it is structurally sound and compliant. Our staff also carry out daily checks on the structure to ensure it is safe for use. We have at least one member of staff that is trained in first aid during off-peak periods and two members of staff during peak days. We have staff trained in both paediatric and general first aid. All of our staff are DBS checked.
Can I take photographs?
We allow pictures to be taken in the centre as long as you do not photograph other children in your picture.
Additional Needs
Do you offer sessions for SEND children?
We run SEND specific sessions on the 3rd Sunday of every month 4.30-7pm. You can find out more on the SEND and accessibility section of our website. We welcome children with additional needs at all times, but appreciate that some children may not be comfortable with a busy environment. Our afternoon sessions are usually the quietest, and therefore we recommend booking these as opposed to the busier mornings.
What SEND facilities do you have?
We are an accessible to all centre and have a changing places style facility with XY hoist. Our café is downstairs, making it accessible to all who wish to order food and beverages. We can also normally make chill out space available for any children that experience sensory overload. Just ask a member of staff who will be able to help.
Rules of play
What are your age limits?
The recommended age is 2-10 years old, although we have a small baby area for ages 0-2. Children over 10 should pay for an adult ticket and may not be allowed to play if their behaviour is discouraging to younger children.
What should we wear?
Little Town is a shoe-free place. Please wear socks. Apart from that, wear whatever you feel the most comfortable in.
What is your policy on supervising children?
Parents or carers are responsible for supervising their children at all times.
